Digitransit is Finnish public transport's cornerstone for route and timetable information. The journey planner service is produced, maintained and developed in a collaboration between HSL, Waltti Solutions Oy and Fintraffic. The majority of the public transport journey planners used in Finland are based on the journey planner or public transport data produced through Digitransit. Digitransit is constantly being developed to be more user-friendly and to support new forms and methods of traffic.
The service is based on open source code and open public transport data interfaces.

If you want your traffic service information to be on the Digitransit platform and journey planners, you can submit your passenger traffic information and data interface to the Finap.fi service, or you can produce regular passenger traffic information yourself using the Route and timetable editor provided by Fintraffic (RAE tool).
