Towards the world’s safest, smoothest and most environmentally friendly traffic 

People and goods have always moved from place to place. This creates jobs, wealth and happiness.  

Yet traffic also has its downsides. Every accident is one too many, sitting in traffic is annoying, and a car standing unused in the yard or a package waiting to be forwarded incur unnecessary costs. Transport emissions are also still too high. Things can’t go on like this – we must be able to do better. So how should we go about it? 

Fintraffic’s goal is to ensure that Finland has the world’s safest, smoothest and most environmentally friendly traffic by working together, both as a team and with our customers. Our mission is to provide the world’s best traffic management and smart transport services – together. 

Our most important tools are expertise, world-class services, and data. Thanks to these, pilots will receive landing clearance, motorists will be aware of upcoming congestion, passengers will know that their train will be arriving on time at platform three, and a tanker can change course to avoid a dangerous situation.  

When the right information is in the right place at the right time, miracles can occur. That’s why we are encouraging the Finnish transport sector to join forces and utilise data fairly and effectively.
